John P. Rochon, Ph. D.

American businessman, investor, philanthropist, and researcher.

John has more than four decades of wide-ranging success in finance, operations, business planning, sales, brand-building, marketing, political strategy, and advertising. He is a highly accomplished investor, activist investor, and business strategist. By the time he was 40 years old, Mr. Rochon was chairman and chief executive officer of a Fortune 500 global consumer goods company, serving in that role for nearly a decade. His career has included more than 350 business transactions across various industries.

He is the founder of Richmont, a private investment and business holding company and the Rochon Family Office a multi-billion dollar single family office based in Dallas, Texas. Richmont’s signature investments have included such companies and brands as Armor Holdings (G4S), Mary Kay Cosmetics, Richmont-Leeds Equity I-III, Royal Appliance/Dirt Devil, Aviall, The Dial Corporation, Avon, Harvey’s Casinos and the Hard Rock Hotel LV, Ross University School of Medicine, Maybelline, RealPage (SaaS), and M42-Ai.

He holds a B.Sc. from the University of Toronto (University College), and an MBA from the University of Toronto (Rotman) and conducted his Ph.D. course work at the University of Texas (Dallas).

He received his Doctor of Philosophy degrees from three universities: Kiev National University, Royal Academy of Economics and Technology, and WSB University (Poland). Mr. Rochon served as a Trustee at the University of Scranton, and on the advisory Boards of the University of Toronto and University of Texas (Dallas), and is a past Board Member of Future Vision Ministries, Canada, Malawi.

 

The Rochon Family Trust funds activities intended to prevent and prosecute sexual violence against women and stopping child sex trafficking through Skull Games.

Timothy Glynn

Richmont Financial – Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Glynn serves as CEO and Managing Director of Richmont Financial, the Merchant Banking arm of Richmont Capital Partners, a $10 Billion plus Private Investment Company and Single Family Office out of Dallas ,TX. Richmont Capital Partners has been a thriving Private Investment Company and Single Family Office since the 1980’s. Over its four plus decades Richmont has completed more than 350 M&A transactions, returning in excess of $52 Billion to its partners including such notable companies as; Mary Kay Cosmetics, where our family head, John Rochon Sr., was Chairman for two decades. Additional investments included; Dial Corporation, Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, Avon Products, Armor Holdings, Dirt Devil and many more.

Mr. Glynn spent three decades on Wall Street where he worked as a Senior Vice President in Lehman Brothers Private Client/Middle Markets Group. He also held top positions at Citigroup Global Markets Private Client division and founded, built, and sold multiple companies including the co-founding of a leading global private equity and merchant banking firm.

Greg Lackland

M42 – Chief Technology Officer

Greg Lackland has a long history of work experience in the technology industry. Greg began his career in 1997 as a Website Developer. In 1998, Greg moved to AT&T as a Sales Operations Manager, where he was responsible for supporting a Business to Business procurement website for Government markets.  Greg was also responsible for the Army, Navy, and the State of Texas contracts with AT&T while also managing the Business Care Managers for the Colleges and Universities segment for the telecommunications giant.  It was at his stint with AT&T that Greg obtained his MSCE certification and learned to build networking infrastructures on the hardware side of IT.  Greg moved to an audio video company in 2009, where he was the Sales and Programming Manager, responsible for organizing B2B and Consumer sales targets and revenue assignments, designing commission payout structures, and managing the sales team. He also pioneered the company into programming smart home solutions.  In 2012, he served as a SharePoint Administrator for a Quality Assurance Certification company, responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and structure of the Sharepoint site and related projects. In 2016, he joined JRJR Networks and Richmont as the Helpdesk Supervisor, IT Manager, Director of IT, and most recently joined M42 as the Chief Technology Officer in 2020.

Greg Lackland attended Texas A&M University, where he studied Biology and Chemistry, from 1990 to 1994. Greg also has certifications in Microsoft Systems Certified Engineering, Sharepoint Administration, as well as Python, SQL server, HTML and CSS programing languages.

Heidi Hafer

Richmont Capital Partners – Chief General Counsel

Ms. Hafer has served as General Counsel for Richmont Corp since 2001. A 1995 graduate of Southern Methodist University, she earned her Juris Doctorate from Loyola University College of Law in 1998. In her role, she oversees the company’s legal matters, working closely with outside counsel on corporate and litigation issues. 

With a strong interest in intellectual property, Ms. Hafer is a member of the State Bar of Texas and has contributed to the legal community by serving on the Visiting Committee of Loyola University College of Law. Recognized as a “Texas Rising Star” in Texas Monthly magazine, she is respected for her expertise and influence. 

In addition to her professional work, Ms. Hafer has been on the Board of Directors of the Rochon Family Foundation since 2004, advocating for the protection of women against sexual violence and demonstrating her commitment to social issues.

Virgina Justice

Ms. Justice serves as the CAO of Richmont Corp, and the CFO of the Richmont Family Office,  roles that underscores her extensive expertise and leadership within the organization. Tom Rochon

Throughout his career, Tom Rochon has been tasked with manufacturing operations, turning around distressed businesses, initiating cost savings, due diligence, and project management for the companies in which he has been em­ployed. He has worked and consulted for com­panies such as: lronhawk Advisory Group, Ready Pac Foods, Harbor Pilot, the Chicago Transit Authority, Pendum, and the Central Florida Regional Transportation Authority. His association with Richmont has spanned the en­tirety of his career. Tom holds a degree in Busi­ness Administration from the University of Miami. He also attended the Ryder Program in Transportation & Logistics, University of Miami; Strategic Quality Management, Edwards Den­ning Methodology; Methods Engineering, May­nard Institute of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

General Tom Consentino

Advisory Board

Brigadier General (Ret) Tom Cosentino, U.S. Army, serves on the advisory board of M42, helping to bring best in class Artificial Intelligence support to, not only the private sector, but also to the National Security Enterprise of the United States. Following his 31-year Army career, Brigadier General Cosentino also now serves as GRG Partner/Chief Strategy Officer, helping GRG develop best in class approaches to risk assessment, mitigation, planning, brand protection, and continuity of operations. He helps in overseeing the delivery of leadership training and education at the C Suite and Board of Directors level.

He most recently served for eight years as the Chief Operating Officer and Secretary of the Board for Business Executives for National Security (BENS), overseeing BENS’ day-to-day operations, while also improving outreach to, and strategic dialogue with, senior civilian and uniformed national security leaders. As Secretary to the Board of Directors he served ex officio as the coordinator for all board governance activities and committees.

Prior to military retirement Tom’s last military assignment was as the 28th Commandant of the National War College – the premier institution for the education of strategic leaders for the United States Military, other departments of the United States Government, and 29 allied nations. Before assuming command of the National War College, Tom served as Deputy Director for Political and Military Affairs, with a focus on the Middle East, providing policy and military advice to the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and the Secretary of Defense. He also served previously as the Deputy Commanding General for Regional Support, NATO Training Mission Afghanistan, and as the Chief of Strategy, Plans, and Assessments for the Multi-National Security Transition Command in Iraq.

Tom also serves as Co-Chairman of the Advisory Board for American Battery Factory, and as a senior advisor to Cerberus Capital Management, Team Housing Solutions, Zeva Holdings, Baker SCI, and the Middle East Media Research Institute. His strategic advice supports business development in the areas of defense and aerospace, strategic risk, energy, supply chain management and resilience, and strategic infrastructure. Previous corporate clients include World Fuel Services, ARTOC Corporation, Triangle Group, Carbon Holdings, Lockton Companies, Sigma 7, and Culpeper Nation Security/Dyncorp.

Tom earned a B.S. in political science at the University of the State of New York and holds master’s degrees in international relations from Georgetown University and national security and strategic studies from the Naval War College.
