Richmont Capital Partners (RCP) is a private, single family-office that has been in business for five (5) decades investing in over 350 M&A transactions returning in excess of $50B to its partners. Its activities include direct capital investments in artificial intelligence, operating companies, investment vehicles, as well as active and passive investments in which we provide capital, resources or both to support the growth of innovative business opportunities.

Currently RCP is heavily focused on two main themes: 1) Artificial Intelligence , through its M42 unit and 2) acquiring or partnering with companies that operate or wish to benefit from Artificial Intelligence.

Richmont looks for great businesses in promising market sectors. When we find a company that we believe has significant upside, we tend to invest in the form of direct capital, management and financial consulting, or through the application of our own resources. We then overlay our proprietary Artificial Intelligence platform M42 to super charge our returns, efficiency’s productivity and returns. Led by John Rochon Sr. and John Rochon Jr., along with Richmont’s Finance and Capital Markets team leader, Timothy Glynn, we amplify our Portfolio Companies. We have an experienced team with expertise in many areas including finance, operations, technology, sales, marketing and strategic business planning. We like to invest our intellectual capital in businesses that interest us.

Richmont’s Portfolio Companies have included investments in Direct-to-Consumer Companies such as Mark Kay Cosmetics and Avon as well as Banking, Publishing and Technology. One recent example of our technology investment is RealPage Inc., a software and Artificial Intelligence Company for Real Estate Services, whose suite of products have been used by nine of the top ten largest property management companies in the United States. We were a founding partner in RealPage Inc.

We eventually conducted a successful initial public offering (IPO) at a multi-billion market valuation. Recently, RealPage Inc. was sold to Thoma Bravo, large US Private Equity firm for $10.2 Billion. Realizing a 300% ROI. Over the past 5 decades Richmont has managed companies in such varied industries as finance, international trading, food service, personal care products, manufacturing, marketing and insurance. Richmont’s chairman and founder is John P. Rochon Sr. As founder and general partner of Richmont Capital Partners, he led the partnership to become one of the largest shareholders in Avon Products Inc. Mr. Rochon served for nearly two decades as chairman of Mary Kay Inc. and led its successful leveraged buyout (LBO) and its subsequent global growth into a multi-billion-dollar company. Other major investments have included Royal Appliance/Dirt Devil, Maybelline, The Dial Corp., Harvey’s Hotels and Casinos, the Edison Project and Armor Holdings.
